Night Time in Marrakech
Magical Marrakech
Marrakech is at its most exotic and magical at night time. When the sun slowly sets, the mysterious Moroccan landscape organically shifts under starlit balmy evening skies. The Medina romantically twinkles with lights and there’s an energetic buzz in the air. The delicious scent of spices and Berber food cooking sail around, while the muezzin (calls to pray) echo across the city. Marrakech by night is a lavish sensory experience that is sheer delight. Travellers from all over the world are captivated by the spirit of Marrakech, it enchants and surprises you boundlessly.
The Zamzam team has compiled some of their favourite eateries and entertainment recommendations for you, which we’ve shared below. We really encourage you to explore the city by night as it’s a huge part any Moroccan holiday.
Families with children are made very welcome in most places here. Visitors will see that the locals often have young children with them around the Medina in the evenings, so our advice – let the little ones share the fun too! If the kids are exhausted, or you’d just prefer grown-up night out, a romantic meal or drinks and an evening stroll, we can arrange babysitting for our guests with our trusted childminders, please speak to Emma or Imane to make plans.
